Dear Stevensville Middle School Students and Families, We are SO excited for Homecoming this week and for your students to celebrate and show their Stevensville school pride! In cooperation with Booster Club (a big thank you to them!!), the athletic department is going to be offering free game passes to all of our students to all of the high school games this week. These passes are ONLY for Stevensville students, not adults, and not for students from other districts. Students can grab their game passes from the Ms. Tina at the front office. We are also excited to announce a fun opportunity to support our High School Pep Club as we gear up for Homecoming Week! To help boost school spirit, the Pep Club will be selling Black and Gold Attack temporary tattoos. These are perfect for students, parents, and staff to show their pride and excitement during Homecoming festivities! Details: Price: $1.00 each (cash only) Delivery: 250 tattoos will be delivered to each school (Elementary, Middle, and High) during Homecoming Week (September 23rd-27th). Tattoos will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Students can purchase a tattoo at the middle school front office during recess time. If you would like to purchase a tattoo, please send $1.00 with your student. Due to limited supply, tattoos may sell out quickly! Also, our Homecoming Parade will be on Friday, September 27th starting at 2:45 PM on Main Street! Middle School student-athletes will ride the fire trucks while all other students will walk down with their teachers to observe the parade. We wish everyone a happy and fun Homecoming week! This week, our 6th grade went to The CSKT Bison Range on Thursday, September 19th, 2024. During this field trip, students learned about different types of furs and camouflage, a fun Native American game, and the history of the Bison on the reservation. What a fun adventure! Thank you to Mr. Buerkle, Ms. Hayworth, Mrs. Frandsen, Mr. Brown, and our wonderful parent chaperone for attending and ensuring students had a great time!

Stevensville Community, Last night, law enforcement responded to students making nonviable threats to the Stevensville schools. The students are currently in the custody of law enforcement. The safety of our students, staff, and community is of utmost importance, and we will proceed with diligence. The investigation is ongoing, and the district will take the necessary measures to understand the threats and act to maintain the safety of all students and adults.

Homecoming Spirit Week is coming up next week! Our middle school students will be participating in the dress-up days, so please see the image below for each day's theme. The middle school will be having a costume contest for best dressed each day, so have some fun and wear your best! The Homecoming Parade will be on Friday, September 27th in the afternoon down Main Street. Exact start time is TBD and will be sent out as soon as we receive it! Thank you!

The MS VB game vs. Corvallis tonight has been cancelled due to illness. Our assistant athletic director is working to reschedule this. Also, practice for MS VB has been cancelled for after school as well. Please coordinate with your student-athletes about transportation home. Thank you!

Our superintendent, Mr. Thennis, dropped by to congratulate the middle school winning advisory classes today. The advisory that turned in their paperwork first for each grade level won time with Mr. Thennis and delicious donuts! Congrats to 8th grade winners: Mrs. Hamrick's advisory! Congrats to 7th grade winners: Mrs. Luhmann's advisory! Congrats to 6th grade winners: Ms. Hayworth's advisory! Thank you to all of the students for being responsible and responsive!

Middle School Parents and Students, The middle school fall sports meeting this evening (8/12) has been moved to the elementary gym. The meeting will still start at 6:30 PM. Thank you -- we hope to see you there!

Dear Middle School Parents and Students, A fall middle school sports meeting will be held on Monday, August 12th at 6:30 PM in the high school gym. You will have an opportunity to meet Brody Astle, our new transportation and activities coordinator, who will be managing all middle school athletics. He will discuss required forms to submit, schedules, eligibility, and you will have the opportunity to meet with the coaching staff for your respective fall sport. Practice for MS football and volleyball starts on August 19th. MS football has a camp August 13th-15th, starting at 6:30 PM. MS volleyball will hold open gyms August 15th and 16th, at 10 AM. Hello Jacket Nation! We hope you all have been enjoying your summer, despite this crazy weather! A couple of announcements: The fall sports meeting for Stevensville High School athletes will be held on Tuesday, August 6th, from 6-7 pm in the high school gym. We will present some information about eligibility, start dates, paperwork, etc, then you will have the opportunity to meet separately with your respective coach for more specific information. We hope to see you all there! Also, in addition to the opportunities for physicals provided in our previous post from Bitterroot Health, they are also going to be providing physicals for our athletes (middle and high school) on August 8th.
