Dear Stevensville Community,
The Stevensville School District and the State of Montana are excited to announce an incredible opportunity for our community to support Innovative Educational Programs in the Stevensville School District. Starting January 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM, the Montana Department of Revenue’s Education Donation Portal will open for pre-approval of the Innovative Educational Program Credit. This program, established under Montana House Bill 279, offers a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for donations up to $200,000. Donations directly support advanced academic programs for our students.
To participate, please complete the Innovative Educational Programs Donation Form below and deliver it, along with your donation, to the Stevensville School District Office. Donations will be entered into the portal on a first-come, first-served basis starting January 15, 2025, ensuring eligible donors secure their tax credit. Act quickly, as the statewide aggregate cap for these credits is $5 million.
For questions, please contact the Stevensville District Office at thennisd@stevensville.k12.mt.us or 406-777-5481. Together, we can make a significant impact on the educational opportunities available to our students.
Thank you for your continued support of Stevensville Schools!

🎶✨ What an amazing night at the Winter Choir Concert last Thursday. Our talented 6th and 7th/8th grade choir ensembles filled the room with incredible harmonies, heartfelt performances, and overall just beautiful singing.
A huge shoutout to our dedicated choir members and the amazing director, Ms. Morton, who brought it all together with the most talented pianist, Julie Ludington. Your hard work and passion truly shined! 🌟
Thank you to all the families and friends who came out to support. Nights like these remind us of the power of music to bring us all together. ❤️🎶

The 6th and 7th/8th grade bands last night sounded terrific! The solos from the beginning 6th grade musicians sounded great! The 7th & 8th graders rocked the house with some amazing and complex tunes! We want to thank all of the families that came out to attend and support our awesome musicians. A big thank you to Mr. Paulus, our band director, for inspiring and leading our students to success!
If you're interested in more great music, our 6th-12th choirs will be performing tomorrow night (Thursday, Dec. 12th) at the elementary gym beginning at 7:00 PM. We hope to see you there!

It's time to dust off those ugly sweaters, silly socks, and Santa hats! We are inviting our students and staff to show off their holiday cheer next week (December 16th-20th) ! One festive student from each grade 6-8 will be chosen for a special treat each day Monday through Thursday. Friday, we encourage our students to wear their most festive holiday pajamas for a day of games and a movie! Our students and staff have worked tremendously hard throughout the year and we are excited to sprinkle in a little bit of fun before we depart on our winter break.

Don't miss out on our upcoming band and choir concerts happening next week!
Next Tuesday, December 10th, the middle and high school band concert will begin at 7:00 PM in the high school gym. We will begin the evening with our 6th grade band followed by the 7/8th grade band ensembles. The High School Jazz Band and Symphonic Band Ensemble will then close out the evening.
Next Thursday, December 12th, our choir concert will be in the elementary gym starting at 7:00 PM. This concert will include all choir ensembles for grades 6th-12th.
We encourage you to come see how hard our students have been working and support our amazing musicians!

Stevensville Middle School staff and students had a busy week last week!
Last Monday, our students participated in the Veterans Day Assembly that was hosted by Stevensville High School. Thank you to our Veterans for your service!
Bryce Sopeland, our Student Council president, helped present the Middle School Board report at the regular Board meeting last Tuesday and did a great job. Thanks Bryce!
Then, last Wednesday, we hosted our first quarter Honor Roll assembly to honor students who have a 3.5+ and 4.0+ GPA! Thank you to our Student Council for providing fun games throughout the assembly.
A huge thanks to all of you that came to the book fair and supported our fundraiser for the libraries and special programs. Not only do we get a portion of the proceeds, but hopefully your child got some books that they will enjoy for many years to come. Supporting their love for books and literature is a huge step towards them becoming great readers. If you were not able to make it to the fair or we were sold out of a title you wanted to get, you are still in luck. Here is a link to the online book fair: www.scholastic.com/bf/SteviJackets
You can order items up until November 24th. Have fun shopping and thanks again!
Finally, a thank you to all of the families that attended our Parent Teacher Conferences . We hope you liked our new format, and that it allowed you to see more teachers and check out our cool STEAM projects where students had to design and build their own carnivals!
Also, a huge thank you to our Parent Teacher Club (PTC) that provided a meal to our staff this week and volunteered their time for our Book Fair. We could not have made this week work without you! Thank you!

If you need a longer conversation with your teacher regarding your students' concerns, they will have available times for you during the conference to schedule with them.
All first quarter grades will be finalized and posted before the end of the day this Friday, November 8th. All grades can be viewed on Infinite Campus as they will not be mailed out, and a help desk table will be available at Parent-Teacher Conferences if you are unable to login to Infinite Campus.
Please let us know if you have any questions by calling Mrs. Armour at 406-777-5533. We hope to see you all next week! Thank you!
