🧬🔬 Science in Action!

Last week, our 6th graders in Mrs. Hamrick’s science lab rolled up their sleeves and became real scientists! Students learned about DNA extraction using a strawberry and practiced proper laboratory procedures to prepare for future experiments.

From careful measuring to seeing DNA come to life right before their eyes, students explored the microscopic world that makes us who we are — with curiosity, precision, and excitement! 🌟

Way to go, 6th grade scientists — and thank you, Mrs. Hamrick, for leading such an engaging hands-on lab experience! 👩‍🔬👏

Thank you to all our families and teachers who joined us for parent-teacher conferences last week and the week prior! We loved seeing so many great conversations happening about student growth and learning.

For the past two years, we’ve used the open format with all teachers set up in the gym so families can move freely and connect with everyone.

We’d love your feedback—how do you like this format? Drop a comment below to share your thoughts! 👇
