Mrs. Schafer's ENG 4 students recently explored the power of storytelling, diving into the rich history of Native American storytelling traditions. Then connected this with the impactful ending of Fahrenheit 451, where the main character discovers the importance of keeping stories alive. To bring this lesson to life, the students created their own "words to share and keep alive," and today, they memorized and shared these words around campfires—just like the characters in Fahrenheit 451.
