🌾 Celebrating Native American Heritage Month! 🌾
Our 2nd graders were fortunate to welcome an amazing guest, Mrs. Brunell, who shared a special piece of her family’s history — a Story Robe, painted on the underside of an elk hide.
She taught the students how to read a story robe and shared meaningful words, sayings, and songs in the Lakota language. Students also learned about the many different tribal nations that call Montana home.
What a wonderful and enriching way to spend the afternoon!

🛡️ 4th Grade Renaissance Fair! 🎨
Our 4th graders recently wrapped up their medieval studies with a fantastic Renaissance fair! Students enjoyed multiplication jousting, delicious porridge, and created beautiful paper stained-glass windows.

🚤 Boat Race Day in 5th Grade! 🌊
Our 5th graders took part in an exciting Explorer Unit that combined Science, Math, and Social Studies! Students first designed 2D blueprints, then brought their creations to life using a limited set of materials — testing their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
The big moment came when teachers got in the ditch and the students lined the edges, cheering, timing, and watching their magnificent boats race! 🏁💦
What a fun and educational way to spend a Friday morning — full of learning, laughter, and a splash of adventure!
