YES! -- For social studies this week Mrs. Hick's class used blueberry muffins to simulate how minors would mine copper out of the mines in Bozeman in the 1800's. We talked about Earth conservation and modern mining practices. We also talked about how those practices differ from the practices used back in the 1800s when the first Montanans were establishing settlements.
