On May 5th, the Stevensville School District asked voters to consider renewing our 10-year Technology Levy. The levy did not pass, resulting in a $150,000 reduction to our operating budget.
To absorb this loss, the district increased class sizes across three grade levels, left three vacant teaching positions unfilled, cut learning platforms, and reduced technology replacements.
What the Technology Levy Funds: Beyond classroom technology, this levy directly supports student and staff safety, basic business software, IT support, and essential instructional tools.
Additionally, a 20-year bond to build the Middle School came off the tax roll in June of 2026 giving residents a reduction in taxes.
As we plan for the future, we want to listen to our community. Please take a couple minutes to share your honest thoughts with us.

We want to share the word that Stevensville School District is not afiliated in any way with Elite Sports Promotions. Elite Sports Promotions (also known as Elite Sports Promos) is widely reported by schools, chambers of commerce, and the Better Business Bureau as a fraudulent telemarketing operation. They cold-call local businesses claiming to sell sponsorships, banners, or T-shirts for local high school athletic teams without actual authorization or contracts.
They are often very convicing and utilize our mascots among other things to sell their service and/or products.
